Day rentals are available
We are happy to announce that we making two outbuildings available for daily rental (1-5pm) for small private use. Located along the Northwest Miramichi river and behind our lavender fields. A mini vacation to appreciate the good weather or that place to get-away from being trapped indoors on a rainy day. Relax, snooze, chat with friends, play board games, read a good book while enjoying a lavender tea or drink of choice.
The first builfding is a well restored and renovated small CN Passenger Station. The patio doors were built from the old windows of the original homestead and opens to a small deck with outdoor seatig and lighting. The view of the Northwest Miramich is complemented by the comfort of the river breeze and tree shade. There is a path to a small grass area at the river front. On a hot day take the chairs and sit right in the river.
The second building is a slightly larger and it dates back to some ancestors creating space for relatives who needed a camp. One of those relatives worked for CN and was how we came to be in possession of a CN passenger station. They originally used the camp as day space and parked a trailer nearby to sleep overnight. This has also been renovated and we added an outdoor screen shelter for dining and sitting around. In honor of tradition we made sure to include a 30 amp plug in case some came with a trailer. It is a lovely spot rain or shine to enjoy the river view.
The inside is petitioned into two zones. The first zone containing a futon, wood stove, fridge and small table are available for dining, games and chatting
The second zone contains a new sectional that converts to a bed. It is where we sit and watch the river, read, chat or snooze. A TV will be available soon.
