Looking forward to our 2024 Lavender Farm day!

We are happy to announce that we making two outbuildings available for daily rental (1-5pm) for small private use. Located along the Northwest Miramichi river and behind our lavender fields. A mini vacation to appreciate the good weather or that place to get-away from being trapped indoors on a rainy day. Relax, snooze, chat with friends, play board games, read a good book while enjoying a lavender tea or drink of choice.  The first builfding is a well restored and renovated small CN Passenger Station. Happy and excited to host visitors to enjoy the lavender bloom. Pack a picnic, come relax, enjoy the lavender, music, paintings and yoga.

With the siding and windows almost complete, the attention has shifted to the interior.             We had a first-ever this week. The gentleman delivering the event chairs looked at the barn and kindly said "Thats a good looking barn". It made our day.               The floor joists and flooring are in for 3 of the 5 barn sections. The floor boards were sawn at a local sawmill using local timber. They have a natural fit with the character of the barn. The mill, Dorion WoodSource, has also kindly agreed...

A quick update on progress. Work continues both on the barn and around the barn. Sherry and Claude from Mapleleaf Stucco and Stone continue to astound. The exterior work has progressed around the barn. In the following before and after work you will see none of that could have happened without Gary Roy's most excellent landscapping work. The east side of the barn had the only original window. The terrain has been leveled and new windows installed.   The windows are set to provide light, of course, but also a view from the loft.
